Set Permissions

Configure Permission Sets

  1. Click Setup in your account menu located in the top right corner.

  2. Use the Search box to search for Users, then click the Users link.

  3. Find and click the non-administrator user profile you want to modify.

  4. In the Permission Set Assignments section, click Edit Assignments.

  5. Select inContact Agent Permissions from the list of Available Permission Sets.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Click Save. The inContact Agent Permissions set will appear under the Permission Set Assignments section of the User Details page.

Assign Visibility Rights

  1. Click Setup in your account menu located in the top right corner.

  2. Use the Search box to search for Profiles, then click the Profiles link.
  3. Click on the Profile associated with the user you want to modify.
  4. In the Custom Field-Level Security section, locate Agent Configuration Field and click View.
  5. Locate the FieldType row and select the checkbox in the Visible column to enable visibility.
  6. Click Save.

Configure Global Permissions

  1. Click Setup in your account menu located in the top right corner.
  2. Use the Search box to search for User Interface, then click the User Interface link that is a child of Customize.

  3. Select the checkbox for Show Custom Sidebar Components on All Pages and click Save.
