Copy a Skill

Required security profile permissions: Skills Create

If you want to create a skillClassification used to facilitate the delivery of contacts; assigned to agents based on abilities, specialties, and knowledge similar to one that already exists, you can copy the skill and modify it as needed.

1. Click Routing → Skills.

2. Locate the skill you want to copy. Click the skill to open it.

3. Click Copy.

4. Change the settings in the new skill wizard according to your needs. For information about each field in the wizard, see Create Single Skill Page.
