Edit File Retrieval Request

Required security profile permissions: File Retrieval Edit, Create, or DeleteThis topic explains how to edit a file retrieval request.

This task primarily applies to requests that are in Draft status. Once a request has been submitted, editing most criteria fields has no effect since the records are in the process of being, or have already been, retrieved. However, you can edit the date on which the retrieved files are returned to long-term storage if you need more time to review them.

  1. Click AdminFolders & FilesFile Retrieval.
  2. Click the request you want to edit.
  3. Modify the fields you need to change.
  4. Click Next to proceed with a request, or Save Draft to save your changes.
