RENAME

Changes the name of an existing file.

Properties

OldFileName

This property is the current file that will be re-named.

NewFileName

This property is the new name and location for the file. To view the files, go to Central> File Manger.

Branches

Default

The Default branch condition will be used unless another branch condition is met.

OnError

If the RENAME action could not complete for any reason, this condition will be triggered.

Always link the RENAME action to an error branch.

Tips and Tricks

• The new name must not be the name of an existing file.
• To verify the existence of a file, use FILEEXIST.
