Import a WSDL/Proxy DLL

A DLL is a collection of code and/or data that can be used by applications or other libraries/modules. For security reasons, you cannot directly import a DLL into Studio, but you can reference one. This external function must be used through a service from the Library panel. See below:

After you click the Import Web Service Icon, the Web Service Import window will appear. You must have the address of the WSDL file, which you will type into the URL field, as follows:

You will also need to provide the namespace (in the Namespace field) that will be used to reference classes within the Proxy DLL.

When the Proxy DLL is correctly generated, you will need to select the location where the Proxy DLL is to be saved:

You should always select the root location at the file server.

After the Proxy DLL is saved, the reference to it will appear in the Library Tab, as shown below:
