Start a Trace Using a Targeted ANI or DNIS

The debug interface in Studio provides for a targeted ANI (automatic number identification)Automatic Number Identification; also known as caller ID. Listed phone number of an incoming voice call. or DNISDialed Number Identification Service; identifies the number the contact dialed to reach you for inbound voice calls and the number the agent or system dialed on outbound voice calls. to trigger a trace to fire while debugging scripts. To start a targeted trace, click the Trace drop-down box and select Trace when ANI is if you want to target a specific ANI, or select Trace when DNIS is if you want to target a specific DNIS. When you have made the desired selection from the drop-down box, type the ANI or DNIS in the text box, as follows.

To trace the next instance of the script that runs, click the Capture Next Instance button one time, but to capture all instances of the script running, click the Capture Next Instance button twice (Capture All button).
