Mask During a Call

If the call is being recorded, the Mask feature allows you to generate white noise (only in the recording) during parts of the call that might contain sensitive information.

In case your organization does server-side recordings, the mask feature is available even when you are not manually recording. To mask parts of a call, follow these steps.

  1. Hover your cursor over the arrow in the colored part of the call control panel and then click the Mask icon.

  2. To stop masking, click the Mask icon again.

You cannot mask a contact during a conference call. You also cannot use the Keypad Tones while masking.
