Place a Call on Hold
You can put a contact on hold while you handle other tasks. To place a call on hold, follow these steps.

Hover your cursor over the arrow in the colored part of the call control panel and then click the Hold icon.

To resume the call, hover your cursor over the arrow in the colored part of the call control panel and then click the Resume icon. Notice that the Disconnect icon is disabled while a call is on hold.
A call that is on hold cannot be disconnected from your NICE inContact Agent for Oracle Service Cloud session. A contact cannot be placed on hold during a conference call.
