Activate/Deactivate a Chat Profile

Required security profile permissions: Chat Profiles Deactivate

Deactivate a Chat Profile

1. Click Routing → Chat Profiles.

2. Locate the chat profile you want to deactivate and click it to open it.

3. If the chat profile you want to deactivate is assigned to any active points of contact, remove the points of contact from those assigned to the chat profile.

   1. Click the Points of Contact tab.
   2. In the Assigned Points of Contact table, click Remove All.
   3. Click the Details tab.
4. Click Deactivate.

Activate a Chat Profile

1. Click Routing → Chat Profiles.

2. Locate the chat profile you want to activate and click it to open it.

   If you do not see the chat profile in the table, click the Show drop-down and select All to display both active and inactive chat profiles.

3. Click Activate.
