Assign Skills to an Hours of Operation Profile

Required security profile permissions: Hours of Operation Edit

Hours of operation profiles allow you to configure business hours within the system, both for normal scenarios and special scenarios like holidays, seasonal periods, and so forth. These profiles can be used with Studio actions to automate contact routing decisions.

This topic explains how to assign skills to an hours of operation profile in the platform. This enables your contact routing to take into account different departments with different hours.

  1. Click RoutingHours of Operation.
  2. Click the profile to which you want to add skills (add a new profile first if necessary).
  3. Click the Skills tab.
  4. Select the checkbox for each skill you want to add to this hours of operation profile or, if you want to add all skills to the profile, click Add All and disregard the next step.
  5. Click Add Skills.
