SFTP Account Test Connection Error Details
Required security profile permissions: FTP Accounts Edit
When you create a new SFTP account, you can test the connection to the server. When the connection creation is unsuccessful, you receive an error message. The following table describes what the errors mean and how to fix the problem.
- No such host is known
- The hostname you entered does not exist. You need to verify that you typed the Hostname correctly and it is valid.
- No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
- The hostname is correct, but it is not able to authorize on the port specified. Verify that you entered the Port number correctly.
- Authentication attempt rejected by the server. Alternative methods:
- The username or password is incorrect. Verify that you entered the Username and Password correctly.
