Handle a CXone Softphone Call

Handle an Inbound Call

  1. When you receive a call, click the green phone icon in the Incoming Call dialog.
  2. Handle the call in the voice workspace that appears in MAX.

Handle an Outbound Call

  1. In the MAX interface, place your call.
  2. If you did not connect to the CXone platform when you logged in to CXone Softphone, or if your connection timed out, CXone Softphone displays a new call in the Incoming Call dialog. Click the green phone icon to answer. This call connects you to the CXone platform, which then begins connecting the call you dialed.
  3. Handle the call in the voice workspace that appears in MAX.
