Create a Point of Contact for Chat

Required security profile permissions: Points of Contact Create

  1. Click RoutingPoints of Contact.
  2. Click Create New and select Single Point of Contact.
  3. For the Media Type field, select Chat.
  4. Enter a value in the Name field.
  5. Select the Skill you want to handle chats that come through this point of contact.
  6. Select the Script through which chats from this point of contact should be routed.
  7. (OPTIONAL) Select the IVR Reporting Enabled checkbox.
  8. (OPTIONAL) If you plan to use a chat profile with a logo URL for this point of contact, enter a value in the Path to Logo URL field.
  9. Select the Chat Profile you want to associate with this point of contact.
  10. Click Create Point of Contact.
