Add Skills to a Do Not Call Group

Required security profile permissions: Do Not Call List Edit

When you create a do not call (DNC) group, you must then add skillsClassification used to facilitate the delivery of contacts; assigned to agents based on abilities, specialties, and knowledge to the group. Two types of DNC group skills exist: scrubbedSkills listed under the Scrubbed tab of a DNC group honor the DNC list of that group. Before PC places a call for that skill, it checks that DNC group for conflicts and does not dial records that are on that list. skills and contributingSkills listed under the Contributing tab of a DNC group help to generate the DNC list of that group. When the dialer places a call for that skill and the contact requests to be added to the DNC list, the record is added to that DNC group. Any skills in the Scrubbed tab of that DNC group cannot place calls to that record. skills. If you want a skill to be able to add numbers to a DNC group and to have that DNC list apply to the group, you must add the skill to the Scrubbed and Contributing tabs of the DNC group separately.

Specify Which Skills Are Restricted by a Group DNC List

1. Click Personal Connection → Lists → DNC.

2. Locate the DNC group to which you want to add skillsClassification used to facilitate the delivery of contacts; assigned to agents based on abilities, specialties, and knowledge. Click the group to open it.

3. Click the Scrubbed tab.

4. Specify which skills will scrubSkills listed under the Scrubbed tab of a DNC group honor the DNC list of that group. Before PC places a call for that skill, it checks that DNC group for conflicts and does not dial records that are on that list. their calling lists against this group's DNC list.

   • If you want to apply this group's DNC list to all available skills, click Add All.

   • If you want to apply this group's DNC list to only certain skills, locate those skills in the Select the Skills to Be Added to DNC table. Select the checkboxes in the rows corresponding to the skills. Click Add.

5. Click Save.

Add Skills As Contributors to the Group DNC List

1. Click Personal Connection → Lists → DNC.

2. Locate the DNC group to which you want to add skillsClassification used to facilitate the delivery of contacts; assigned to agents based on abilities, specialties, and knowledge to contribute to the group's DNC list. Click the group to open it.

3. Click the Contributing tab.

4. Specify which skills you want to contribute new DNC requests to this group's DNC list.

   • If you want all the skills to contribute to this group's DNC list, click Add All.

   • If you want only certain skills to contribute to this group's DNC list, locate those skills in the Select the Skills to Be Contributing to DNC table. Select the checkboxes in the rows corresponding to the skills. Click Add.

5. Click Save.
