Activate/Deactivate a Point of Contact

Required security profile permissions: Points of Contact Deactivate

  1. Click RoutingPoints of Contact.

  2. Locate the point of contact you want to activate or deactivate and click its row to open it.

    If you do not see the point of contact you want to modify in the table, verify that the table is not filtered based on status. To do so, change the Show drop-down to All.

  3. Click Activate or Deactivate.

    If you attempt to deactivate the point of contact and receive an error that says "Cannot be deactivated because it is still assigned to an active skill", you may be able to resolve the error by following these steps:

    1. Find an old, deactivated ACD skill and reactivate it.
    2. Assign this point of contact to the reactivated skill.
    3. Deactivate the skill you reactivated.
    4. Try to deactivate the point of contact again.
