Remove Skills from a Do Not Call Group

Required security profile permissions: Do Not Call List Edit

When you create a do not call (DNC) group, you must then add skillsClassification used to facilitate the delivery of contacts; assigned to agents based on abilities, specialties, and knowledge to the group. Two types of DNC group skills exist: scrubbedSkills listed under the Scrubbed tab of a DNC group honor the DNC list of that group. Before PC places a call for that skill, it checks that DNC group for conflicts and does not dial records that are on that list. skills and contributingSkills listed under the Contributing tab of a DNC group help to generate the DNC list of that group. When the dialer places a call for that skill and the contact requests to be added to the DNC list, the record is added to that DNC group. Any skills in the Scrubbed tab of that DNC group cannot place calls to that record. skills. If you want a skill to be able to add numbers to a DNC group and to have that DNC list apply to it, you must add the skill to the Scrubbed and Contributing tabs of the DNC group separately.

Remove Skills Scrubbing Against a Group DNC List

1. Click Personal Connection → Lists → DNC.

2. Locate the DNC group from which you want to remove skillsClassification used to facilitate the delivery of contacts; assigned to agents based on abilities, specialties, and knowledge. Click the group to open it.

3. Click the Scrubbed tab.

4. Remove skills from those scrubbed against the group DNC list.

   • If you want to remove all skills from the DNC group, click Remove All.

   • If you want to remove only certain skills from the DNC group, locate the skills you want to remove from the DNC group in the Select the Skills to Be Added to DNC table. Select the checkboxes in the rows corresponding to the skills. Click Remove.

5. Click Save.

Remove Skills As Contributors to the Group DNC List

1. Click Personal Connection → Lists → DNC.

2. Locate the DNC group from which you want to remove skillsClassification used to facilitate the delivery of contacts; assigned to agents based on abilities, specialties, and knowledge as contributors to the group DNC list. Click the group to open it.

3. Click the Contributing tab.

4. Specify which skills you want to remove as contributors to the DNC group.

   • If you want to remove all skills as contributors to this DNC list, click Remove All.

   • If you want to remove only certain skills as contributors to this group DNC list, locate the skills you want to remove in the Skills to Be Contributing to This DNC Group table. Select the checkboxes in the rows corresponding to the skills. Click Remove.

5. Click Save.
