Custom Report Templates Overview
Custom report templates enable you to create your own reports with the metrics and data you want to see. You can specify the date range of the data in the report, filters you want to apply to the data, and the type of report you want to run. You can run reports that target agent data, contact data, or IVR data. Reports can display high-level information about the contact center, or it can drill down into minute details. Your report templates can generate data based on the moment a contact entered the system or based on the time intervalA period between points, limits, or events, such as dates or times. of the day. The type of data that appears in the reports, down to the specific metrics the report displays, is completely up to you.
You can attach the report templates to an automatic schedule so that reports generate automatically on a recurring schedule or at a single moment that you specify. You can also run a report template manually to generate the report on demand.
When you create a custom report template, you can specify a header you want to appear at the top of each generated output from the report template.
The NICE inContact system stores 25 months of contact summary data and 90 days of contact detail data. You should only run 30 days of data at a time, or you run the risk of the report timing out. If you choose to run a report with more data, it is better to schedule it.
