Rename a Palette Category

As you develop your palettes and scripts, you may want to make changes such as renaming palette categories, which can come in handy if you repurpose a category for something other than its initial function.

1. Log into Studio.

2. Click the Tools tab.

3. Click the Manage Palettes icon:

   

4. Make sure you have selected the palette containing the category you want to rename:

   

5. Click the Manage Palettes icon again.

6. Click Manage Palettes → Rename Category and select the name of the category you want to rename:

   

7. When the Rename Category window appears, type the new name of the category:

   

8. Click OK.

9. You will see the blue category line item change from the old name to the new name:
