Installation Overview

Installing NICE inContact Agent for Salesforce requires several steps, in a specific order. After you complete the required steps, many optional configuration tasks are available.

To install Agent for Salesforce, you must perform these steps in order:

  1. Install the Agent for Salesforce Package
  2. Assign users to your license
  3. Set permissions for your users
  4. Assign users to the call center configuration
  5. Configure the SoftPhone Layout
  6. Assign profiles to the SoftPhone Layout

Once you complete the required steps, you can optionally customize your installation.

When configuring NICE inContact Agent for Salesforce, do not change the call center profile. Only change the call center profile if you have NICE WFO enabled.
